It’s a Jungle Out There: Swipe Left for Misogyny

My undergraduate capstone project was a qualitative rhetorical analysis of the inherent misogyny women experience within online dating. I analyzed screenshots posted online that exposed hostile and abusive language aimed at women, especially upon rejection. Topics discussed in the paper include counter public theory, “meninism”, institutional patriarchy, The Bechdel Test, feminist theory, violence in video games, and Anita Sarkeesian.
